Things I love:

I've been down the last couple of days. Sad for no reason. And lonely. Maybe it's post beach/family depression. Ok probably is. I miss being close to family and friends. I miss it a lot. So this week I have countered with two things I love. No one: quilting. Two quilts me and Ryan are working on! His is the awesome superhero one. The other one is for sweet Lillie. Then the gardening. Being outside. Getting dirty. Sweating. Planting. It was goo. This is our patio garden. We have a big one going with our church and I'll post pics of that later. But for now. this is it. And some sweet flowers I planted in the front yard. :) yay for spring.

spring

we never really had a winter this year. 

well. it snowed a couple of times- but no more than an inch. 

and we never got to use our new sled.

although people still are convinced that blizzards come in march, and we still have 2 weeks left- ive given up hope. 

and im embracing spring. 

like really really embracing it.

i spent the majority of my day outside. 

it was in the 70's allll day. 

it was sunny. 

the flowers are blooming. 

my toes are painted. 

and i have a killer new pair of sandals. 

saltwaters. 

they are pretty fantastic. 

i don't want to take them off. 

and as for leaving the outside... i don't really want to do that either. 

sitting in my hammock. playing with the puppy in the green soft grass. rocking in the rocking chairs on the front porch. drinking sweet tea. leaving the windows open. hearing the birds chirp. smelling the flowers. 

thats spring. and its in the air. 

and im enjoying every single moment.
